Obuse Sakes have finally made it to the Top 10 of SAKETIME since 2022. Obuse Shuzo is a very small winery that focus largely on wine production in Nagano and only produces limited number of sakes (around 4000 bottles) every year during winter.

Obuse only uses organic Miyamanishiki rice with kimoto method in their sake production. 

This bottle uses No.6 yeast in its production. The typical characteristic of Obuse sakes is their taste similarity to white wine. You need to let it breathe for a while after opening so as to enjoy a more robust and well balanced flavor of the sake.
