This Sake is a tribute to the creator of the Association No. 6 yeast (Aramasa yeast), the fifth-generation head brewer of Aramasa, Sato Ubei (1865-1947), is said to be "the benefactor of Akita sake" along with the late sake brewing engineer, Masatsune Hanaoka. He was so passionate about ginjo brewing that he would sleep in the brewery himself and immerse himself in his research. This limited edition product, named after Sato Ubei V, inherits his passion. It is a specially planned sake that offers seasonal changes and subtle aging throughout the four seasons.
